The Practice
At Acorus, integrative and holistic care is at the forefront of our approach to medicine. We believe that a provider-patient relationship based on trust, understanding and communication is essential in order to achieve optimal health outcomes.
Our integrative approach to care emphasizes an individualized treatment plan tailored towards each patient’s unique needs, goals and lifestyle. We make sure to provide comprehensive care and support that takes into account the physical, mental and emotional aspects of health. This is why our name comes form the herb shí chāng pú (石菖蒲) used by Chinese medicine for awakening and revitalizing the mind.
Our integrative approach also helps us prioritize prevention through nutrition, lifestyle recommendations and other evidence-based practices. It is our mission to help you create a healthy balance in your life while supporting your overall wellbeing.
